 Jeff Magee

President

 

With a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Illinois, Jeff began his career in the mortgage industry in 1984. After four years learning the mortgage business with Provident Financial Services and Illinois Mortgage Corporation, Jeff embarked on establishing a local, boutique mortgage firm catering to homebuyers in the near west suburbs. In addition to expanding his own client list, his reputation in the lending community brought numerous productive Loan Officers into the fold. As a result the company now serves clients from as far away as Galena and Dixon!

He has worked with thousands of borrowers in the local communities, personally closing over $600 million of mortgage loans. His strong communication skills and ability to simplify a complex process are the most oft cited praises from his customers and referral partners.

While active in management of the company, he still devotes the majority of his time to giving personalized service to his mortgage applicants and to his primary business partners, the local real estate professionals.

Scott Webster

Senior Loan Officer

Scott has worked for Mortgage Resource Group for the past twenty two years. He has an extensive educational, financial, business, and sales background that is uncommon in the mortgage industry. Having received an undergraduate degree from Cornell University and a master’s degree in Finance and Marketing from the UCLA Graduate School of Management, Scott spent fourteen years as a Senior Product Manager, handling national accounts such as Sears and J.C. Penny.

In order to spend more time with his family Scott switched careers and joined the local and well respected Mortgage Resource Group. His ability to work with the most complicated financial situations, his knowledge, and his interpersonal skills ensure that you will get the service you desire and the loan that you need.

Bill Skutta

Senior Loan Officer

Bill joined Mortgage Resource Group in 2003. He received his undergraduate degree from DePaul University and has significant work history in the legal field. After purchasing his first home, Bill decided he could be of best use to others looking to finance their homes. Since then, the mortgage industry has changed dramatically.

Recently, Bill was featured on several Chicago-area AM radio stations to discuss the changes in mortgage financing and how FHA has helped more homebuyers achieve the American dream. Bill has trained extensively on current mortgage industry products and has the experience and the attention to detail to ensure you have a smooth transaction from the application all the way to the closing.

Therese has been with Mortgage Resource Group for twenty one years. In that time, she has worn the hats of Loan Processor, Loan Closer, Loan Officer, FHA Specialist, and Office Manager. She is the liaison between the Lenders we work with and you, the customer. She is the “inside person” that touches your file more than anyone else. Her expertise in all facets of mortgage lending is what will make your experience enjoyable.

Carol Webster

Loan Processor

Carol has been processing loan applications for Mortgage Resource Group for the past seven years. In her former life, she received a degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. She worked as a fashion designer in Manhattan for 10 years before leaving the work force to be at home to raise her children. Once her children moved on to college Carol came back to the work force in the mortgage lending field. Having helped her husband with marketing and processing for over 5 years, she made the transition easily into a full time processor.

Carol is valued for both her processing and her customer communication skills. In an industry that has become increasingly difficult and frustrating for the consumer, her goal is to make our customers experience as smooth and satisfying as possible.

Susan Magee

Treasurer & Administrator

Susan Magee, Treasurer and Administrator of Mortgage Resource Group, assisted in the company’s formation in 1989. Payroll, office supplies, compliance issues, vendors, human resource work, building management, and financial record-keeping are some of the duties in Susan’s job description. She loves variety and is very happy to use her skills to help the employees of Mortgage Resource Group keep their attention on getting your loan to the closing table quickly and efficiently.
